Catechism classes begin again on Tuesday evening of this week. We are going to experiment for a while with shorter classes. Instead of going for 55 minutes, they will be shortened to 45 minutes. This will enable us to have all classes completed by 9:30 p.m. instead of 10:00 p.m. The motivation for the change is really simple: observation over many years shows that many st udents in the last class which used to run from 9:00 to 10:00 p.m. struggled with attentiveness. An earlier time may help in that regard. So the new times are as follows: 7:00 PM Group 1 - Grades 8 and 9 7:50 PM Group 2 - Grades 10 and 11 8:40 PM Group 3 - Grade 12 and 1st year post-secondary. Students should bring along a working pen and a binder with some paper. Along with that, they should bring a good attitude and a readiness to learn God’s Word!
