Calling all men, young and old. In light of a great response from last summer, the Men’s Fireside Fellowship will be starting up again in June. With many of our regular gatherings concluding for the season and some beautiful summer evenings ahead, we have an opportunity to take our fellowship outdoors. We would love you to join us for a weekly evening around a campfire with some snacks and refreshments. We will discuss a good book together and encourage and challenge one another as brothers in our faith. Keeping a simple, casual format, all that is required of you will be to read the chapter of the book prior to the gathering and come with reflections, insights, questions and challenges from the book that will make for good discussion around the fire. It was a real blessing last summer to have such an intergenerational group of men discussing and encouraging one another in life and godliness, and we hope to see it continue again this summer. The first fireside gathering will be held on Wednesday, June 19th, at 8 pm at Brother Vane’s house. We will work through the book, “Irresistible Faith: Becoming The Kind Of Christian The World Can’t Resist” by Scott Sauls. Please contact Brother Tyler Witthoeft if you plan to join us, so that he can order the books for everyone. I hope to see many of you there again for some good discussion and fellowship and to encourage one another to abide in an irresistible Christ, in an irresistible community, becoming an irresistible Christian.
