Young Peoples Season Kick-off BBQ
Young Peoples are excited to gather for the season kick-off BBQ on Sunday, September 17th. We will be
gathering at the Vane’s residence after the second service for an evening of food, fellowship, praise,
games and activities. We will open the evening with a devotional, followed by food and a briefing on
some of the plans for the year ahead. If any parents felt they could supply a side, salad or dessert to
accompany the BBQ, that would be much appreciated. Otherwise, head over any time after the second
service, and if any rides are needed to or from, please let us know.
If you are between the ages of 15-23 or thereabouts, or have a passion for investing in the lives of young
adults, we would love you to join us this year as we continue to build a Young Peoples community that is
“rooted and built up in Christ” (Col 2:7). We aim to gather bi-weekly on Sunday evenings at the church
for a time of praise and worship, Bible study, group discussions, games, and fellowship. We will be
addressing relevant topics throughout the year that biblically equip young adults for the struggles they
face growing up in today’s world. Parents, please try and encourage your young adults to attend. We
look forward to seeing many of you there as we start a new season of growing in the grace and
knowledge of our Savior together.
